Fionn Foley is an award-winning theatre and screen writer, composer and performer, based in London. Recent writing and composition credits include the critically acclaimed musical adaptation of Roddy Doyle’s The Giggler Treatment (The Ark) and the Irish Times Theatre Award-nominated musical Tonic (Rough Magic).
This Christmas, his music and lyrics feature in a new production of Charles Way’s adaptation of The Borrowers at the Gate Theatre, Dublin.
His award-winning debut short musical film Cantata (Take Ten Films) screened at numerous prestigious festivals around the world as well as winning the ‘Sound of Cinema Award’ at SSFF in Tokyo earlier this year.
Fionn’s solo show Brendan Galileo for Europe won the ‘Bewley’s Little Gem’ and ‘Best Performer’ Award at Dublin Fringe before touring nationally and to Assembly at Edinburgh Fringe 2019. His musical Fierce Notions won the ‘Judge’s Choice Award’ at Dublin Fringe 2017.
Most recently, his radio play Helen Wheels (RTÉ Drama on One) won an IMRO Award for ‘Best Radio Drama’.
